my northern irish roots were obviously visible when i booked my holiday - i would be abroad over the 12th july even though i don't live in northern ireland anymore. imagine the shock we had in toronto when walking through downtown on saturday 14th july to discover this

that is horrendous! i cannot believe the sectarian parades have made it across the atlantic...i am amused by the fact that they don't get the day off work and have to save it up till saturday, though!
