Starbucks in Glasgow made the mistake of selling me out of date sandwiches. So I sent a polite email to Starbucks on Monday afternoon informing them of their mistake.
I received a reply on Tuesday morning asking which store had made such a silly mistake and that they would inform the store that they needed to be more careful. And that they would like to send me some vouchers as an apology.
So yesterday I arrived home from work to discover £10 of Starbucks vouchers had arrived in the post!!!
Hmm very tempted to go to Team Valley tonight for a mocha!
(well its been almost 48hrs since I last visited Starbucks)

kirstin i am feeling that perhaps you are strongly addicted to the evil corporate empire? when you measure the time you've been apart in hours i think that is a big flaming sign that you drink too much starbucks.
myself, it has been 72 hrs and counting since my last confession, er coffee.
i think you might be right, althought the fact that it had reached 48hrs is a big sign that I'm cutting down and weaning myself off
I am slightly concerned about spending a weekend in New York with Catherine and how many trips to starbucks we will make, starting with Newcastle airport followed a few hours later by heathrow - I think my will power will be strongly tested

Starbucks are trying hard with their Fairtrade so perhaps you can suspend a little guilt when there.
i will try to limit it to 2 visits a day! especially when flying, since it's v important to keep hydrated and i'll not be allowed moisturiser or lipbalm on the plane...
it'll be water all the way, i promise!
once we get to new york, on the other hand...

Although Andrew has suggested that I could use the trip as a way of sickening myself of Starbucks - everytime I see one I have to have a mocha, I reckon we'd never be out of starbucks if we did that in New York
