and reading the online cliff notes
i understand the tempest!!!
after the 4th performance that i sat through confused i googled it to find out what was really going on
now i get it and have enjoyed 2 more performances
only 2 performances to go before toronto!!!!!

see, i cheated and read a children's storified version before i ever read the real play. i don't think i've ever seen it performed though.
also, if you're interested "the forbidden planet" (fifties sci-fi film) is based on 'the tempest'. just in case you wanted to see it yet another time!
