Good news
It was on the window sill in the study
Along with the letters for the hospital that I needed on Tuesday and Friday last week but couldn't find! and my degree certificate.
I can go to New York on Friday after all.

phew! i'm so glad you managed to find it...it would not have been nearly as much fun going without you.
i have to admit i've been carrying my passport round with me pretty much every day for the last 2 years - just in case! (though it was necessary for most of 2005)
