I have been seriously lacking in the Christmas spirit this year, but it has been gradually returning with the help of a carol service with Lucy and her friends, listening to carols on Songs of Praise (yes I am officially old) and finally with the watching of Miracle on 34th Street. It tugged on the heart strings when Santa Claus started to sign to the little deaf girl, and how the little girl ended the film believing in santa.
I think the Christmas spirit has finally returned to me.
